The Indian Touring Car Championship (ITC) is the most prestigious racing category in India. The regulations in use allow for extensive modifications to a production based Indian road car below the capacity of 1800cc under a cc to weight ratio limitation. This makes the championship the most technically challenging and competitive racing class in India. The series is identical to the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship), which is run in the U.K. and the Japanese Super GT (Japanese Touring Car), which is run in Japan. The category was formed in 2007 to bring in technical engineering skill-set of teams and driving expertise of drivers together on a common platform. The cars are engineered to produce very high horsepower, have completely re-engineered chassis, braking systems, complex gearbox systems, electronics and state of the art suspensions and aerodynamic components.

Race Concepts debuted its Honda City VTEC ITC car in 2015 and won 3 races out of 7, with a further 3 podium finishes during the 2015 season taking the team’s lead driver Deepak Chinnappa to second overall in the championship. Deepak repeated the feat in 2016 and we added one more car to the category with our Super Stock Runner up from 2015 Varun Anekar. The car is the fastest ever Honda to go around any of the Indian racing circuits.
The goal is to set better standards and improve Indian motorsports as a whole by developing competitive machinery and producing better drivers.

Race Concepts has been active in the National Drag Racing series since 2013 and after winning the JK INDRC 2014 National Championship title in the Indian Open and Unrestricted classes, we have been undefeated in 2016 in the unrestricted and Indian Open classes. Our Honda City VTEC engineered and driven by Joel Joseph, is the fastest front wheel drive car in India and the fastest SOHC 1500cc Honda City in the world! The car has taken top honors and beat the quarter mile times of various super cars, further the car has won every race it has entered since 2013. This includes the Pro-stock, the Indian open and the Unrestricted category.
The drag racing events have large audiences with over 5,000 spectators and VIPs present at the event. Drag racing is a platform where a common man gets an opportunity to build and compete a vehicle which in turn makes the event an ideal place for sponsors to showcase and display their various products and services. The events also attract lot of media and TV coverage with the best drivers being interviewed and the best cars being featured on various publications.

The MRF FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) is the premier rallying series in India run under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which is the Governing Body or ASN of India recognized by the FIA, culminating with the Indian National Rally Champion Driver, Co-Driver and Team. The championship is based on a point system. The championship first received its National Championship title status in 1988. Indian drivers in Indian cars are eligible to take part in the 2016 INRC.

Race Concepts debuted in the INRC in 2016, with 1 Mitsubishi Cedia, 2 Honda City and 1 VW Polo in different classes. In our debut year, we are leading 1 and 2 in the 1600 FMSCI cup with our 2 Honda Cities. We will be fielding more cars in various categories and 2017, and are going to take up a bigger challenge of fighting for victory in all the different categories in 2017.
